Attention New Song! We are going to give away 1,000 boxes of fresh food on October 31st, and WE NEED YOUR HELP!! Pastor Klen is out of commission due to his hip procedure, so we especially need strong, burly, men to load 30-40 pound boxes of fresh produce, meat, and dairy into people's trunks! Grandmas call your grandsons! We also need prayer warriors to pray over family's cars, people to direct traffic, and smiling faces to welcome guests as we expect to help many people that day!

We have been given a wonderful opportunity from the USDA Farmers to Families organization to bless our neighbors in need in the Heights with farm fresh foods! Whereas most food closets can only provide canned or boxed foods, we are giving away 1,000 boxes full of fresh vegetables, fruits, meat, eggs, milk and cheese! Yum! This will be such a blessing to individuals and families in our area who are subsiding off of canned foods.

Please click button below to email Holly to volunteer for a shifts or the whole day!
  • Shift 1: 8:30 am - 12:00 pm
  • Shift 2: 12:00 pm - ~ 4:00 pm (or until we run out of boxes!)

Together let's bless our neighbors in the Heights!!
PARENTS CORNER
We had a great time at the Fun Fall Festival for families on Sunday, October 18th. Among the highlights was the ever popular Pumpkin Decorating. Saa'mara W. took first prize with your vote, and she will receive a a prize as well Emily G., who voted for Saa'mara's pumpkin. Congratulations Saa'mara!! Runners up for the Pumpkin Decorating Contest were Aria K., Malaya E., and Omarion P. Great job kids!!

Pastor Klen won the Candy Corn/Pumpkin Count by correctly guessing 615 pieces in the jar. There were 616!! Congrats Pastor!!

Kids that hung around got to go Trunk or Treating. Fishing for their treats was the most fun, I heard. Boy, was there a lot of candy!! Thank you to those "Trunksters" for taking the time to decorate their vehicles and give out candy in the rain!! Thank you to Elizabeth and Deborah, Cleveland Institute of Arts students, who decorated trunks and the big tent! Thy also helped set up the kids area. Thank you too, to those who brought bags of candy! So kind and generous!!

We'll come up with another fun activity for the kids before Christmas. Maybe, a Pajama Party???

Once again, thank you to all as you made the Festival for the kids a great one!!

Starting Sunday,October 25 Preschool and Elementary we will be learning about the Supernatural! With God on our side, we only need to concentrate on Him and not be distracted by the evil in our world.  Miracles happen everyday if you pay attention and know God.  God is powerful.  When God wins, evil loses!!  Enjoy the 4 week series.

Toddlers, hope you are enjoying the CROWNED stories about what kings and queens in the bible.  Knowing these stories will be helpful as you grow and learn more about Jesus.
